Is there such a creature as a typical St. Edmund’s pupil? We very much hope not! Children are encouraged to be individuals, keen to develop talents, interests and beliefs. Of course, it goes without saying that all are polite, well-balanced, witty and self-confident!

There is a simple educational philosophy at St. Edmund’s - our strongly-held belief is that if children are happy then they will fulfil their potential. We therefore strive to maintain an atmosphere in which this is the case for all children at the school.

This website gives a taste of what St. Edmund’s has to offer but there is no substitute for a personal visit and we do hope you’ll take the opportunity to see us first-hand.
