The Headmaster, Adam Walliker, commented, "Once again, this has been a challenging year for students and teachers. During lockdown our full timetable of 'live' virtual learning meant that every child received the maximum possible education and no-one missed out. At the senior end, I am delighted that our girls and boys have achieved such excellent GCSE results and I congratulate them on their hard work, dedication and perseverance. At the recent ISI Inspection in June 2021 the inspectors rated the school's Educational Quality as Excellent (the highest grade) and recognised the commitment of our children, commenting ‘pupils have outstanding attitudes to their learning and are determined to succeed’. The value that St Edmund's adds to our students’ experience across a mixed ability range through small groups and top quality teaching has again paid dividends. My thanks go to our dedicated academic and pastoral staff who provide the hugely supportive environment in which our children can thrive.”
