Saturday Clinics

Saturday Clinics are offered to pupils in Form 10 and Form 11. These optional clinics take place approximately 4 times each term and run in 2 sessions between 09.30am – 1.00pm with a 10 minute break and snack in between sessions. Pupils can attend one session or both sessions and parents are able to sign up on the Parent Portal on the Wednesday prior to the Saturday Clinic taking place.

Dates of the Saturday Clinics are available in the termly calendar but the details of each session are published at the start of the week.

Rather than covering new material, the aim of the sessions is to provide extra small group teaching time to assist with recent topics, revision and coursework.

The Saturday Clinic subjects vary depending on the demands of the curriculum, for example if coursework is due. The timetable is written so that at least one session is based on a chosen GCSE subject for each student. As such maths and English appear frequently while some subjects appear less often.
