Cricket

Cricket has been played at St. Edmund’s for nearly 150 years and is one of our flagship sports, especially in the summer! Senior pupils can play in weekly matches and have plenty of opportunities to develop their skills. Matches may be hardball or softball matches and may also be mixed gender.

We boast outdoor and indoor nets, as well as five cricket pitches on site. Our home matches take place on one of our pitches or at one of our local cricket clubs with whom we have valued links. We also participate in all day tournaments with schools further away. 

Cricket is a great sport for parents too, as they can sit and watch their child play while basking in the summer sun!
